APP OVERVIEW

Blacklist is an application for managing unwanted calls. With its help, you can create a black list of subscribers who will not be able to call or send SMS to the user.

Visually, Blacklist looks very nice. There are only three tabs on the main screen - “Black List”, “Journal” and “SMS”. Add new number In an emergency, you can use the “+” button in the very center of the display.

In essence, Blacklist is nothing more than a call or SMS filter with blocking tools. It is worth noting that the software implementation of such functionality is somewhat limited compared to what the operator can provide mobile communications, albeit for a fee. In this case, calls could be blocked at the connection stage, and SMS during sending. In applications like Blacklist, this is done directly from the device, i.e. after the fact.

Blacklist blocking features include filtering calls from the blacklist, blocking calls from hidden numbers (for example, when calling from Skype), filtering by postfix or prefix of the number, etc. You can add custom exceptions in the form of a list of unblocked numbers, if some desired number got caught by the filters.

When blocking a call, you can turn off the sound, reject the call, or accept it and hang up after some time. All these actions are performed automatically. You can generally block all numbers except the list of exceptions. For blocked calls or messages, you can set up an answering machine that will send relevant information via SMS. The application also keeps a log of blocked calls. Among other things, we can note the presence of a widget for quick access to means of blocking or Reserve copy and restoration of the blacklist.

Overall, Blacklist does a great job of avoiding unwanted contacts. Some features, such as password protection, are only available in paid version, which at the time of publication of the review cost about 100 rubles on Google Play.

You will no longer be disturbed by an annoying interlocutor and a huge amount of unnecessary SMS advertising. Today I will tell you about the BlackList program.

-Low battery consumption;
-Availability of widget;
-Support from the developer;

When a call is blocked, the screen turns on;

Work on the BlackList program began relatively recently - at the beginning of 2012. Despite this, it has become very popular, with more than 3 million installations. There are a lot of applications with SMS/call blocking functionality, but BlackList can boast of its stable operation and low demands on the device’s characteristics.

At the first launch, a short briefing is given in “broken Russian” on the functionality of the program.

Let's try to fix this and figure it out ourselves.

The button called "black" opens context menu with 4 modes to choose from.

The next button calls up the main menu, where all the delights of the program are configured.
Let's look at each of them:

"Black list"

It's simple, this is where you will control unwanted numbers. By default, you are presented with ready-made add-ons:
As we can see, the action selected is not to block incoming calls and SMS for “Private numbers” (numbers that are in the phone book).

This can be easily fixed. Just click on the add-on and the following type of menu will appear, where you can select the desired action:

To add a number to block, use the plus button at the top of the screen.

A context menu will appear in which you can select “annoying” numbers. At the top there are 4 sections from which you can select a number:

1 – Call log;
2 – Contacts;
3 – SMS;
4 – Custom (enter number);

Next function – "White list" .

This window provides useful feature, which, when you click on the “My Contacts” button, transfers all phone book to the white list (there will be no conflicts with the black list if there is a match, the black list has priority).
If there is no need for this function, then add contacts as in the previous case, through the “plus” button at the top.

It is enough to enter a phrase or word from annoying SMS, and they will no longer bother you.

Next function – "Schedule".

With this function everything is very simple. You set the time and days of the week when the black list will be automatically activated/deactivated. This function can be used every night to get rid of unexpected calls.

For more fine tuning programs will move to "Settings".

Let's look at the settings in order:

“Select and install” - all numbers from the blacklist will be automatically redirected to voicemail.
“Also block MMS” - in addition to blocking SMS/Calls, MMS messages will be blocked.
“Options during a conversation” - during an active conversation, the program will not reset the number from the black list, it will “hang” on the second line.
“Use alternative” - if numbers from the blacklist can still be reached, then you should activate this function. She will use alternative method blocking.
“Remove app’s icon from Launcher” - will hide the program in the list of applications.
“Set password” - Setting a password will save you from unauthorized changes to the black list. When launched, the application will require digital password, which you install yourself.

“Display notifications” - when the program is running, the program icon will be active in the notification line. By clicking on it you can change the blocking mode.

“Notifications” - information about blocked calls / SMS will be displayed in the status bar.

“Clear official notifications” - deletes information about blocked calls in the status bar.
“Clear official”—deletes information about blocked calls in the call log.
