UAZ Patriot costs from 600 thousand rubles, and for many such a car is simply a vital necessity: this model has its fans. What to do if you need a car urgently, but there is absolutely no money for it. If you are sure that you will be able to pay for the car for the next few years, you should consider the option of purchasing a UAZ Patriot on credit. In this article we will briefly describe possible programs lending in several Russian banks.

UAZ Patriot on credit under the state program

The UAZ Patriot model falls under the state subsidy program for car loans, that is, it can be issued at a reduced interest rate. The essence of the program is to sell on preferential terms those cars that were designed in Russia. To become a member, you need to prepare at least 15% of the cost of the car as a down payment. A mandatory condition is comprehensive insurance.

Not all Russian banks take part in the state program, but a sufficient number: VTB24, Rosselkhozbank, Sberbank of Russia, Raiffeisenbank, UniCredit, Rosbank, Bank of Moscow, etc.

If you meet all the requirements of the program and can fulfill all the bank’s conditions, then your official rate will decrease by 5.3%, which the state will pay. That is, having received a rate of 13.5% per annum, you will personally overpay only 8%.

We issue a UAZ Patriot on credit: “VTB24”

VTB24 Bank, when purchasing a UAZ Patriot, asks for a loan of 15% at once. The maximum loan term is 5 years. If you take out a car loan for up to 3 years, you will overpay 13.5% per annum. For a four- or five-year loan, the interest rate will be 14.5% per annum.

The age of a potential VTB24 loan client is from 21 to 65 years at the date of loan closure. The bank does not insist that you carry proof of income: it is enough to present a passport and a second document to confirm your identity, for example, a driver's license.

  • There are quite a few affiliate programs, allowing you to get a car loan for a UAZ Patriot on preferential terms.
  • The government subsidy program can make your official rate 5.3% lower.
  • At VTB24 you can get a loan for up to 5 years at 13.5-14.5% per annum. The minimum down payment is 15%.
  • Rosbank asks to deposit from 10% of the cost and offers a rate from 15.2 to 24.5% per annum.
  • In Rosbank and VTB24 you can get a car loan without an income certificate.

UAZ Patriot on credit with Rosbank

Rosbank also offers a special program for purchasing UAZ, including Patriot, on credit. Here you need to deposit at least 10% of the cost of the car, but the interest rate will be higher than at VTB24: from 15.2 to 24.5% per annum. It is determined by the size of the down payment and the loan term.

The advantage of the Rosbank program is that it allows you to buy not only a new UAZ Patriot, but also a used car. This credit institution also does not insist on a copy of your work book and income certificate: to conclude a transaction, all your documents will require is your passport and driver’s license.
