And this is not surprising at all, because now you don't even need to leave your home to perform any financial transactions. You no longer need to go to a bank branch to pay utility bills, make a money transfer or check your card balance. Along with consumer benefits, this approach is convenient for banks as well. It allows you to reduce the staff and rental space for branches. The funds saved are used to modernize online banking applications, making their work transparent and as secure as possible for each client.

Especially for the remote service of small businesses, Sberbank has introduced a special system "Business Online", which allows using a regular browser to work with payment documents, receive express information about the movement of finances, communicate with bank employees and much more. For the safety of customers, the entrance to this system occurs only after entering a special electronic key. But in some cases, the login becomes impossible, and the user is displayed "Error initializing token 4".

How to log into the Business Online system from Sberbank correctly

The security key (token) for logging into the Internet banking system is saved on the Flash drive.

To log in correctly, you must:

  1. Insert token into USB port.
  2. Open the pop-up window for the drive.
  3. Run the start.exe file.
  4. Enter your personal code and select the "Login" option.

When the error appears

If there are any problems with the token and the computer cannot recognize the information from the carrier, it issues a system message with the text about an error in the Sberbank system.

It also happens that when trying to start the program through the start.exe startup file, the user sees the text: “Error! Unable to open Infocrypt HWDSSL Device ”. This indicates that the device cannot be connected.

The error can appear for several reasons.

Causes of "Token initialization errors 4" and how to fix it

The reasons for these problems can be very varied. But for each of them there are personal recommendations for elimination. The factor that unites them is only the possibility, in most cases, to eliminate the problem without the involvement of highly specialized specialists. First of all, it is recommended to make sure that the Internet connection speed is stable when starting the bootloader, and that all anti-virus programs are turned off.

  1. The user tries to run the program in a profile that does not have administrator rights for the computer. In this case, the error is due to the requirements of the bank's security system. The same can happen if the profile has been moved to a local account. The solution is obvious - you need to log in to the system only through an account with administrator rights.
  2. The security services of the PC block access to the contents of the key, making it impossible to recognize and initialize it. The problem is observed when using a token in the server ports, during an attempt to activate it via the RDP remote access protocol. In this case, the best solution would be to use support systems that use other protocols (for example, RFB) or programs that provide remote access (such as TeamViewer or AeroAdmin).
  3. Two or more tokens are simultaneously connected to the USB ports of the computer, which prevents their normal recognition by the system. When a notification about the second token is received, the OS immediately signals the appearance of an unknown identifier on the network. If something like this is observed, you must restart the PC and resume work with the second security key.
  4. Another reason for the error may be outdated token firmware. To update it, you need to download the archive with updates from the Sberbank website, select and open the token_upd.exe file from it when the drive is connected to the computer. In the pop-up window, you will need to click on the "Update" button.
  5. Lack of required drivers. In this case, there is only one solution - their installation. It is recommended to download the USB Smart Card reader exclusively from the official Microsoft website, bypassing all other portals, since the program serves to work with finances, and therefore requires the most responsible and attentive attitude to itself. It is important that this solution is relevant only for versions of Windows XP, Vista and earlier. For Windows 7 and OS after it, drivers are not needed by default.

  6. The driver is out of date or was installed with an error. If you suspect this is the problem, update the software. To do this, open the "Device Manager", select the required device, go to the "Properties" tab and select the "Update Driver" action. The system will search for a new software version without user intervention and replace the driver with the updated version.

There are several known causes of an initialization error, each of which has its own way of fixing the problem without involving banking specialists in most cases. You can try to fix the problem either on your own or by entrusting this procedure to a full-time system administrator or programmer. However, in situations where the initialization failure is caused by wear or an irreparable error in the token itself, you will need to order a new security key from the bank employees.

Reasons and remedies for the error

Methods for restoring the security key to work will directly depend on the cause of the failure.

  1. The lack of a dongle driver has only one solution - installing the USB Smart Card reader driver from the official Microsoft website. You should not use third-party web resources that offer different versions of this driver, since finance is a matter that requires responsibility and care. This option is only suitable for operating systems older than Windows 7, since such drivers are not required by default in "sevens", "eights" and "tens".

  2. An outdated or installed with an error driver also has an obvious solution - updating the software. To do this, open the "Device Manager", select the appropriate device, open its properties and activate the "Update driver" option. The system will independently search for a new version, if it exists, and replace the driver with a newer modification. An outdated driver may be the cause of the error
  3. The user is not logged in as a computer administrator, therefore, even with an updated and correctly installed driver, the computer security system will not allow the token to be launched in a guest or any other user profile without administrator rights. This reason may also appear if the profile has been moved from a domain account to a local one. There is only one solution - logging into the system through the administrator profile allows you to run the token in normal mode.
  4. Access to a token from a remote session is not provided for by the system for working with them, therefore, the security services uniquely block access to the contents of the key, preventing it from completing its recognition and initialization. Such an error occurs if the device itself is inserted into the server port, and the client is trying to activate it via the RDP remote access protocol. This issue can be resolved using auxiliary systems operating according to the principles of other protocols, or programs that provide remote access. Examples include the RFB VNC system or the RAdmin program.
  5. Several tokens are inserted into the computer, which disorients the machine. In this case, the open session is initialized only for the flash drive that was inserted first. Upon receiving a signal from the second token, the system immediately issues notifications, signaling the appearance of an unknown identifier on the network. In this situation, it is enough just to send the computer to reboot, and then use the second security key to enter the bank's system. If the device is connected to the server, then it is more reasonable to instruct the system administrator to perform this reboot operation.
    If several tokens are used on the computer, the system may not work correctly and give errors

In any case, one should not forget about the recommendations of the developers, who strongly recommend running the token with the antivirus program turned off, uninterrupted access to the Internet and through the browsers Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

Thus, an error in the initialization of token 4 can be eliminated on its own if the cause of the failure depended on the driver, user profile, session remoteness, or the number of simultaneously inserted devices. If none of the above measures helped, then you should contact the developers, collecting diagnostic information. It may be necessary to make a new security key.

In accordance with the Agreement signed by our organizations and in order to ensure the security of electronic signature keys (ES), excluding their compromise (disclosure), as well as to streamline the electronic document management system, we inform you about the rules for working with ES keys.

1. General concepts

Electronic signature keys are produced by their owners on their own using the SberSign software.

Before carrying out the procedure for making ES keys, it is necessary to install (or update) the SberSign software version no lower than 5.7.1.

SberSign 5.7.1 software provides generation and verification of electronic signature files based on algorithms that comply with GOST R 34.10-2001 and GOST 34.11-94, and also provides encryption and decryption of files in accordance with GOST.

For the functioning of the SberSign software version 5.7.1, the CIPF library “Bicript 4.0” is used (certificates of conformity №СФ /, №СФ / dated 01.01.2001). The library module and documentation for the cryptographic protection system "Bicript 4.0" are included in the software package.

Electronic signature is a complete analogue of the Client's own manual signature. Loss of control over the medium containing the ES private key may lead to unauthorized access to the key by third parties (compromise). If you suspect that the key has been compromised, it must be removed from the document management system and a new ES key must be registered.

The Client's ES come into force after their registration by the Bank. Registration consists in entering the Client's public ES keys into the Bank's database. After registration, the Client can use the corresponding private keys to generate ES files with Electronic Registers, transferred to the Bank.

2. Installation (installation) of SBERSIGN 5.7 software

For the software to function, you need to install the SberSign 5.7.1 software on your computer.

Before starting the installation, check the contents of the distribution kit (software installation package) - the sbersign571.arj archive. The distribution files must match those specified in the README file. RTF.

From the installation disk (CD, flash drive), or after copying the distribution kit to a local disk, run Setup.exe

In the window that appears (see Figure 1), select the directory (directory) for installation. You can agree with the proposed option by clicking the "Install" button.

IMPORTANT: Copy to the directory where the SberSign software was installed (by default "C: \ SberSign \") the file shablon. RTF(from the provided kit), replacing the file located there.

This completes the installation of the SberSign 5.7 software. Next, you will need to configure the SberSign 5.7 software parameters and create electronic signature keys.

3. Setting the parameters of the software "SberSign 5.7"

Before proceeding with the creation (generation) of ES keys, you should make the necessary settings for the SberSign software. To do this, launch the "SberSign Settings" application: START -> All programs ->SberSign -> OptionsSberSign(see Figure 4).

In the "Generation Wizard" section, check the option "Use the Generation Wizard when generating keys". Next, you need to specify the appropriate path to the file of the certificate printout template, as shown in the figure. This file must be previously copied from the Sbersign distribution (installation) package and it must correspond to the template given in Appendix # 1 to this memo.

To save the changes to the settings, click the "Save" button.

The parameters must be set as shown in the figure, except for the section "Storage parameters for the private signing key". The meaning of this section may vary.

In the example in the figure, the private key file on the diskette “a: \ sign. key ", but if the key file you generated is located on another medium, then you need to specify it. After completing the selection, save the parameters on this tab by clicking on the "Save" button.

4. Creation of electronic signature keys (ES)

Electronic signature keys are produced by their owners on their own at the Client's workplace using the appropriate genkeys utility. exe from the SberSign software.

A set of ES keys consists of two keys: private and public. Using a private key, an electronic signature is generated under an electronic document, and using an open, electronic signature of the document, it can be verified.

The ES owner MUST keep his private key secret. The public key is intended for transmission to the places where the electronic signature is checked.

For security reasons, it is recommended to use Touch Memory or VPN-Key as the carrier of the private key of the electronic signature, but the SberSign program also provides the ability to use flash drives and floppy disks (floppy disks).

To create ES keys on flash drives, prepare "clean" flash drives according to the number of sets of ES keys to be created.

IMPORTANT: If the staff of the organization has the position of chief accountant, then it is necessary to produce ES keys for the head and chief accountant of the organization. If the staff of the organization does not have the position of the chief accountant, then the ES key is produced only for the head of the organization.

Generation of ES keys is also allowed for other officials of the organization who have the right to sign electronic registers.

ATTENTION: Each ES key is produced on a SEPARATE carrier !!!

Install the carrier for generating the electronic signature.

In the example below, the keys will be generated on a flash drive.

Run the "Key Generation" program, START -> All programs ->SberSign.

In the window that appears (see Figure 7), click the "Next" button.

You can find out the Organization code assigned to your organization from the accompanying documentation to the agreement or from the Bank employee who executed the agreement (your organization code CTC is _______).

If you create the first ES key with the given Organization code, then it must start with 0001.

The ES key identifier will be created automatically, but it should be edited to be more informative. For example, the identifier in Figure 9 does not reflect the name of the enterprise. There was not enough room for it, since the length of the identifier must not exceed 32 characters. Alternatively, you can shorten the position and remove the space after the middle name (see Figure 10).

But it is possible that the title could be much longer. Then it is recommended to first write the name of the organization, and only then the position, if you remain in this place. For instance: ER8W7001sBolshovAATZHPervomaisk... Even the removal of the “gender” symbols did not help for the “Pervomayskoye” homeowners association, but, nevertheless, such an identifier is quite suitable for registration.

To avoid technical complications, do not use more than one space in a row, special characters, periods, quotes, etc. in the ES key identifier.

IMPORTANT: ES key identifiers cannot be repeated. The identifier of the ES key derived from the document circulation cannot and will not be registered anew. Pay special attention to this when reinstalling SberSign software, system software, or installing Sbersign software on another computer.

After generating the correct ES key identifier, you must insert the flash drive into the computer, if this has not been done earlier, and click the "Next" button and proceed to the next step (see Figure 12).

Step 4. In the "Enter the location for recording the public ES key", by clicking on the "Select" button, select the flash drive (or hard drive), or write the letter of the flash drive in the English layout directly in the input field and check the "Create public key ”(see Figure 13). The public key is saved as a file in the folder you specified on your hard disk or flash drive in the format YYYYNNNN. key , where YYYY is the client's unique code, NNNN is the serial number of the key. This file is intended for you to transfer to the Certification Center of the Bank for its certification (establishment of ownership) and registration.

After pressing the "Finish" button, the procedure for creating a key of the random number generator (RNG) can be initiated. Click the "OK" button to continue.

In the window of the ES key generation wizard that appears (see Figure 15), you will be prompted for a password to access the created ES secret key, consisting of six characters and including letters of the English alphabet and numbers, some characters can be read in two ways, the case of letters is IMPORTANT (uppercase or lowercase ). You can change the password by clicking the "Other password" button until an acceptable option is generated for you. Write down the password that you have chosen, carefully check the correctness of the password and click the "OK" button. It is not possible to recover the password for the ES key; in case of loss of the password, you will need to produce a new ES key. It is not recommended to store the password that protects the ES key together with the carrier in clear text. It is advisable to store the ES carrier in a metal cabinet (safe), to which only the person who has been granted this right has access.

In the opened Microsoft Word window you will see the draft of the printout of the public key certificate, in which you need to check the compliance of the data specified in it and, if necessary, make changes. The following fields must be filled in: surname, name, patronymic of the owner (abbreviations of the name and patronymic are not allowed); position; organization name (full name).

As a result of the production of ES keys on the selected carrier, the following files will be generated:

· sign_ YYYYNNNN. key - ES private key;

· YYYYNNNN. key - ES public key;

· YYYYNNNN. rtf - printout of the public key certificate in accordance with the supplied template as part of the SberSign software distribution kit.

· prnd. db3 - RNG key file.

If it is supposed to make several ES keys, then it is necessary to take the following "clean" media and perform the above procedure for each key.

After making the ES key, it is necessary to check the software settings.

To do this, start the SberSign Settings program. "START" -> "All programs" -> "SberSign "->" ParametersSberSign ".

The parameters should be set as shown in the figure (see Figure 17), except for the section "Storage parameters for the private signature key" (circled). In this section, indicate the location of the ES private key file by clicking the "Select" button.

In the example in the figure, the private key file "F: \ sign_E5RT7001.key" is selected, but if the key file you generated is located on a different medium, then you need to specify it. After completing the selection, save the parameters on this tab by clicking the "Save" button.

After the production of the ES key, it is necessary to check its operability.

To do this, select the required file (files) in the "explorer" or in an open folder, activate the context menu with the right mouse button, select "Sbersign5 - Sign Electronic Signature".

Insert the carrier with the ES key, type the password for this ES key. When typing a password, carefully check the keyboard layout - there must be an English layout "EN" and case of letters (uppercase or lowercase). If the password is correct, a message about signing the file will be displayed and the identifier of the ES key with which this file is certified will be indicated.

The program automatically checks the ES key password and the correctness of the secret signature key, that is, the Sbersign software will not allow you to enter the wrong ES password.

5. Registration and replacement of electronic signature keys (ES)

For the right to sign the electronic signature of registers, the Client must register the electronic signature with the Bank. To register a new ES key in the Bank's database, the Client should submit to the functional division of the Bank that has entered into an agreement with the organization, correctly executed and completed (with the appropriate signatures of the ES key owner, the head of the organization and a seal stamp) a printout of the ES public key according to the sample (see appendix) in duplicate and the ES public key itself (in electronic form) by rewriting the file on a separate "transport" medium YYYYNNNN. key.

IMPORTANT: The file sign_YYYYNNNN. key contains the private key of the Client's ES and to the Bank SHOULD NOT BE TRANSFERRED!

The functional subdivision of the Bank prepares the necessary documents and transfers them together with the public key files and printouts of the Client's ES public keys to the Bank's Certification Center.

The Client's ES keys come into force after they are registered by the Bank's Certification Center and the Client's ES public keys are entered into the Bank's database.

The second copies of the printouts of the Client's public ES keys with the signature of an authorized person of the Bank's Certification Center and the seal of the Bank's Certification Center are transferred to the Client through the functional unit.

The transfer of electronic documents signed by electronic signature is advisable only after the return from the Bank of the printout of your key certificate with the marks and seal of the Certification Center. This document, in accordance with the Federal Law "On Electronic Signature" No. 63-FZ of 01.01.2001, is for you a guarantor that the Bank, within the framework of the agreement, will only have to execute orders signed by an electronic signature generated using a paired private key ... From the side of the Bank, this document is the guarantor of your non-repudiation from the document with your electronic signature.

The validity period of your ES key is specified in the ES public key certificate and does not exceed one year and three months. After this period expires, the ES keys are subject to expiration. To ensure the continuity of electronic document flow with the Bank, you should carry out the procedure for replacing the ES keys in advance. The procedure for replacing ES keys includes all operations described in sections 4 and 5 of this document.

For an unscheduled withdrawal from the ES key, you must send an official letter to the Bank.
